1. Who these terms are with
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME d.o.o.], [STREET, POSTCODE SARAJEVO, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA] (registration number [REGISTRATION / MBS NUMBER]), which operates LOVEBOSNIA (the "Platform").
By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Platform. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy form part of this agreement.
2. What the Platform is
LOVEBOSNIA is a professional network for people connected to Bosnia and Herzegovina — at home and in the diaspora. It lets you publish a professional profile, share posts, connect and message other members, and browse job openings.
We are a venue, not an employer, recruiter, or party to any dealings between members. We do not verify members' identities, qualifications or claims, and we do not guarantee that any connection, opportunity or job will result from your use of the Platform.
3. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You must give accurate registration details and keep them current.
- One person, one account. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, shared or transferred.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done under your account.
- Tell us at info@lovebosnia.com as soon as you suspect unauthorised access.
We verify your email address before your account becomes active, either with a six-digit code or through Google sign-in.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, obscene or threatening.
- Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your identity, employer, qualifications or affiliations.
- Post content you do not hold the rights to, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
- Send spam, chain messages, pyramid schemes or unsolicited commercial messages.
- Scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-export member data by any automated means.
- Upload malware, or attempt to probe, breach or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure.
- Circumvent access controls, rate limits or security measures.
- Use the Platform to build a competing product or dataset.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post. We claim no ownership over your profile, posts, images, video or messages.
To operate the Platform we need permission to handle that content. You therefore grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical display purposes, and distribute your content solely in order to run and improve the Platform. This licence lasts only as long as your content is on the Platform, and ends when you delete it — apart from copies that remain in routine backups for a short period, or that other members have lawfully received (a direct message you sent, for instance, remains with its recipient).
We do not use your content for advertising, and we do not license it on to third parties.
You are responsible for what you post and you confirm you have the rights to post it. Anything you publish to the feed or your profile is visible to other signed-in members — treat it as public and do not post confidential information.
6. Moderation, suspension and termination
We may remove content, or suspend or terminate an account, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or where we are required to by law. Where it is practical and lawful to do so we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond. Serious breaches — illegal content, security attacks, harassment — may result in immediate termination without notice.
You may close your account at any time. On closure we delete your account and personal data in line with the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.
7. Job listings and third-party content
Job openings shown on the Platform are supplied by the external board pronadjiposao.ba. We display them for convenience. We do not author, verify, endorse or take responsibility for their accuracy, for the employers behind them, or for any recruitment process that follows. Applying takes you to a third-party site governed by its own terms.
8. Our intellectual property
The Platform itself — its software, design, layout, text, graphics, the LOVEBOSNIA name and logo — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Platform as intended. Nothing else is granted.
9. Availability
We work to keep the Platform available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and perform maintenance, at any time. Where a change is material and adverse we will give reasonable notice if circumstances allow.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We give no warranty as to the conduct, identity, qualifications or reliability of any member, or as to the truth of anything a member posts. Interactions with other members are at your own risk.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, whether or not we were advised such loss was possible.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) 100 KM.
If you are a consumer, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer protection law, and your statutory rights are unaffected.
12. Indemnity
If you use the Platform in breach of these Terms or applicable law, you agree to indemnify us against third-party claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising directly from that use. This does not apply to the extent the claim results from our own breach or negligence.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in-platform notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not, close your account.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes fall to the competent courts of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

15. General
- If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
- Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
- You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them as part of a corporate reorganisation or sale, without reducing your rights.
- These Terms, with the Privacy and Cookie Policies, are the entire agreement between us about the Platform.
